About Us
United Metals is a small family-owned business started in 2000 and officially established in 2010 by Jesus Cervantes and his sons, Rey and Ramon in San Clemente, CA.
Mr. Cervantes’ sons helped him register United Construction and Repair as well as United Metals as a company in 2010. They joined in to help expand the company with all the proper certifications and most importantly to help their father build a company that provided excellent service, and for the Cervantes family to have a family-owned company to pass down to the next generation.
Jesus Cervantes or as many call him “Don Chuy” is a very hard working man, who started working at a very young age. Once he got married to Doña Josefina and started a family, he knew he wanted to build something for them to have for the future. As any great father and with the support of his family. He started working hard to achieve this goal, he took on many jobs and with the help of his wife, who worked on the field picking grapes. By the early 2000’s, he started working independently as a handy man for restaurants such as Jack in the box, he was self-tough in fixing air conditioners, fryers and many other appliances.
Don Chuy decided to move from Calexico, CA to Orange County to continue to pursue his dream even though it meant not seeing his family as often as he wanted, Jesus and Josefina continued to work for their goal. This sacrifice of moving away from family starting paying off when he was able to move his whole family to Orange County, and once his kids where here, it did not take long for them to join his father’s small company and helped him establish United Construction and Repair in 2010 as a small owned family business.
After a couple of years in business Jesus Cervantes along with his two sons, Rey and Ramon, expanded the company even more and opened up a shop in Santa Ana, CA.
We are now located in a bigger shop based in Stanton CA, and we also provide even more services such as stainless-steel work and more construction work in addition to the equipment installations, maintenance and repair. Our goal is to continue to work hard and provide great service to our commercial and residential clients.
Nowadays Rey and Ramon Cervantes continue to run the company making Don Chuy and Doña Josefina proud of the hardworking men they have become and for their success in running their family-owned business.
We are proud to help our father and mother continue on with their legacy that they worked so hard to establish.
